The email set up a narrative where one woman tells her co-worker that being a Christian is like being a pumpkin, because...
- God picks you from the patch.
- Cuts a whole in the top of you and removes the "yucky" seeds of doubt, hate and greed.
- Then he puts a smile on your face, and puts his light inside you.

This metaphor is very odd, because...
- If God is picking you from the patch, then you're only going to reach lost Calvinists with your analogy.
- God seems to miss some of the yucky seeds.
- Smiles aren't always happy.

But really. I'm silly for over-analyzing the illustration.
And my department's secretary is very sweet, so, I appreciated the cute email from her. Thank you, Sabrina. I smiled after I read it.
